Imagine: you wake up and it’s a just-got-to-ride-my-horse morning, so you
saunter across your property, mount your horse and off you go. You
canter through a stunning display of wildflowers - blues, violets,
yellows, pinks - a veritable symphony of colors, and then you espy
a cheerful bubbling spring creek not far away. You tarry a while and
contemplate the beauty - rocks, clear sparkling water - pure serenity.
You see the occasional walker and cyclist, and know that winter will
mean great cross-country skiing on this groomed private trail. Later,
you tie your horse to the hitching post and enjoy a leisurely coffee
at the Hitching Post Cafe. Everyone is howdy-friendly and you’re
cocooned by a cozy feeling. You sit in the room of the lodge and watch
the majestic mountain peaks detach themselves from the clouds. You
decide to follow the trail out to the forest and ride into the Tetons.
